Most encouraging offensive indicator thru 21 games . . .

Adam Everett’s on-base percentage is .329 (which tells you how bad the offense has been so far this season has been). Everett’s currently (before tonight’s game) tied for 2nd place on the team in walks with 9. His highest career OBP in a full season is  .320 and his highest walk total is 34 in 514 AB’s last year. This year he already has 9 in about 60 AB’s. If he can bump his BA up another 20 points and maintain the walk rate, he might get close to being average for a shortstop.
