Things I No Longer Believe

A post at the Evangelical Outpost adds to a list of 5 things that Rod Dreher wrote that he no longer believes. Dreher’s list is steeped in his typical self-centered irrationality. In contrast Joe Carter has some stark beliefs, that if true, would change our politics and foreign relations significantly going forward. As he says, they’re both harsh and pessimistic, yet he still has hope for America’s future. I don’t believe the statements in his list are true, but they are thought-provoking. If he’s right, I don’t know that I share his confidence in our continued existence as a nation.
