The Astros are having a bad week. The trading deadline was a washout. We’ve been blown out in 3 straight games and given up 10+ runs in the last four games (unprecedented in Astro’s history according to Greg Lucas on the FoxSports broadcast). We’re double-digit games under .500, trailing in the division by a huge margin and the future doesn’t look that much better next year.
And then, to add insult to injury, Morgan Ensberg goes off and hits 2 home runs in his first game as a Padre.
We’re not this bad. Every team will have terrible weeks like this one. But it’s a tough time to be an Astro’s fan right now.
