But I Still Like His Music

It’s unfortunate that so many of the musicians I like to listen to have views that are so different than mine, but Willie laid a whopper on us recently. He was on the Alex Jones show (that alone show his poor judgment) and said the following, according to a report in the Houston Chronicle.

[…]Texas icon Willie Nelson said on a nationally syndicated radio show that he questions the official story of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks in New York City.

“I certainly do,” Nelson said Monday when asked by talk-show host Alex Jones.

“I saw those towers fall and I’ve seen an implosion in Las Vegas, there’s too much similarities between the two. And I saw the building fall that didn’t get hit by nothing,” the singer-songwriter said. “So, how naive are we, you know, what do they think we’ll go for?”

  1. Many demolition experts have trouble toppling buildings on purpose. It’s not as easy as it seems. The temperature need to melt those I-beams is quite intense. Although I doubt there is a conspiracy, it’s far from a closed-book question. So you shouldn’t let those comments detract from your opinion.
